Elena is the Tax Director of the Firm and she has over 10 years’ experience in tax services practice. Elena started her career in Hong Kong Business Tax Services in one of the Big Four Firm prior to joining the firm.

At the beginning of her career, she gained her experience on Hong Kong Profits tax compliance and tax advisory services for listed companies, multinational and local corporations.

After joining the firm, Elena expands her scope of tax services and focuses her specialties to cope with the newly implemented taxation provisions on multinational corporation including Transfer Pricing services, Pillar 2 - Minimum Top-Up Tax services as well as other tax advisory services.

Her success in her taxation field does not only build up her own clienteles in that area but also assist the firm to enhance the portfolio on other areas. A typical example is that Elena started to provide tax advisory services to a Multinational Group for its IPO compliance in Hong Kong. With high recognition of her, the firm is now appointed to provide audit and company secretarial services for its Hong Kong subsidiaries. At present, Elena also continues to provide Hong Kong tax advisory services to a number of corporate groups, including e-commerce platform and electric vehicle manufacturing group based in the PRC.

Specifically, the majority of Elena’s experiences focuses on:

• Helping clients to review and manage Hong Kong subsidiaries in a tax-efficient manner, meanwhile give advice on reducing tax risks in transactions;
• Helping clients in due diligence exercise in multinational acquisitions; and
• Partnering with local tax advisors on cross-border services in relation to advisory and implementation on transfer pricing policy, Pillar 2 services, all the way down to reporting and compliance.
